Essential oil synergies
A synergy is a blend that is already formulated. It is not a single essential oil or an assortment: it is several oils chosen because together they work better than apart, in the exact ratio and with nothing for you to calculate.
What a synergy is and why it is not the same as mixing
When you combine essential oils at random the result is usually an aroma poorer than its ingredients. A synergy starts from how the notes behave with one another.
- Top notes: the citruses, perceived first and gone soonest.
- Heart notes: florals and spices, the body of the blend.
- Base notes: woods and resins, the ones that fix it and make it last.
Ours are pure essential oils, with no synthetic fragrance and no solvent. That is why they come in 10 ml: they go a long way and you do not need more.
The two Mimos and when to use each one
The range is short on purpose. Each blend is meant for one specific moment, not to serve for everything.
- Citrus Dream: orange and lemon. The one for mornings and work spaces, when you want to clear the air and get going.
- Pumpkin Obsession: pumpkin with creamy, vanilla-like nuances. The autumn one, for afternoons at home and evenings on the sofa.
Both are formulated for a diffuser. A few drops in the water and that is it. If what you want is to carry the aroma with you rather than scent a room, what you need is a roll-on.
