USING BLACK LICORICE FLAVOURING IN FOOD
Do not consume directly. Ensure thorough mixing with your preparation according to recommendations. Professional use for food preparations only.
Suggested dilutions:
- Add 1 to 2 grams (approximately 20 drops = 1 gram) per kg of dough or mix.
- For baked goods: add an additional 0.5 g (10 drops).
- For drinks, cocktails, or smoothies: use 0.5 grams per litre (10 drops per litre).

USING BLACK LICORICE FLAVOURING IN COSMETICS
- Bath gels: Use 1–2%
- Shampoos and hair care products: Use 0.2–0.6%
- Bath oils and salts: Maximum 9%
- Facial products: Use 0.1–0.2%
- Deodorants: Maximum 1.3%
- Liquid soaps: Typical maximum 1.2%
USING BLACK LICORICE FLAVOURING IN FRAGRANCES
The doses below refer to the total amount of aromas used:
- Scented waters and colognes: Maximum 3 grams (60 drops) of aroma per 100 ml of water/alcohol.
- Fragrances: Use 6–13 grams of aroma (20 drops = 1 gram) per 100 ml of excipients.
- Perfumes: Use 10–18 grams (20 drops = 1 gram) per 100 ml of excipients.
- Children’s products: Maximum 1 gram of aroma per 100 ml of product/excipients.
USING BLACK LICORICE FLAVOURING IN AIR FRESHENERS
- Sprays: Mix at 30% with ethyl alcohol or vodka at 70% (alcohol content can be diluted with water).
- Reed diffusers and air fresheners: Suggested dilution is 30% aroma, 70% DPG.
USING BLACK LICORICE FLAVOURING FOR BASES
- Mix with PhEur glycerin and USP propylene glycol.
- Preparation: Mix at 8–12% with the base. Allow to macerate for two weeks for a more intense flavour. For fruit-based aromas, maceration may take just one week.
